Youthful firmness – the lips become perfectly moisturised and fleshier;
Reduction of fine and deep wrinkles – immediate rejuvenation effect on the lips and surrounding areas;
Intense and fresh colour – after regeneration with a natural acid, your lips assume a healthy, youthful reddish hue.
A very popular treatment procedure using hyaluronic acid is lip augmentation, resulting in the increase of lip volume. It is possible to correct upper or lower lips, when they are too narrow, or to increase the volume of both lips, even in young individuals of both sexes.
Hyaluronic acid is an excellent remedy for the ageing processes of the lips and perioral areas. With age, the lips lose their volume, firmness and become too narrow. The corners of the lips turn downward and vertical lines known as “smoker's wrinkles” appear on the upper lip.
Hyaluronic acid is a substance found in our body. Therefore, lip augmentation with hyaluronic acid produces a very natural effect. The procedure is safe and fully reversible.
Hyaluronic acid ensures perfect firming, correction and moisturisation of the lips that lose their hydration and redness with age. Hyaluronic acid can be used to improve lip contours and moisturisation, lift the corners of the lips and fill the so-called smoker's wrinkles on the upper lip.
The lip augmentation or regeneration procedure involves injecting small portions of a special gel into the lips or surrounding area, using a very thin needle or cannula that minimises the risk of bruising. Lip augmentation is carried out under local or dental anaesthesia. Depending on your needs, hyaluronic acid may be administered into the lip contours or the redness of the lips, into the middle of the mouth or right above the upper lip.
The procedure lasts approximately 30 minutes. Afterwards, the filler is practically impalpable and the lips are soft and elastic. Swelling and bruising may sometimes occur. However, these symptoms subside after 2 – 4 days.
Generally, the effects last on average from 6 to 12 months.
