Injection lipolysis helps to eliminate small, local deposits of fat on the face and other body regions (slimming down the abdomen, buttocks, upper arms and areas around the knees). It is also efficient in reducing cellulite.
Injection lipolysis is perfectly suited to individuals with a slight excess of fat. This type of treatment is also highly effective in the management of lipomas. However, lipolysis is not dedicated to severely overweight individuals (for whom we recommend the Vaser Lipo therapy).
Injection lipolysis involves injecting a natural lecithin-based substance (phosphatidylcholine, or PPC in short) directly into the adipose (fatty) tissue to be removed. Phosphatidylcholine, which is derived from lecithin, shows no adverse effects. Scientific studies have demonstrated that injection lipolysis using a lecithin derivative is effective in the elimination of adipocytes (fat cells) and removal of cellulite.
The active substance from lecithin easily penetrates the cell membranes and gets inside the cells. If administered in higher amounts, it causes the structure of the membranes to rupture. Once it enters into the fat cells, the active substance leads to their disintegration. It is next transported to the liver, where the final metabolism of lipids (fats) takes place, in order for them to be removed from the body.
Lipolysis is a quick and non-invasive method that is painless and usually requires no anaesthesia. The dosage of injection lipolysis is strictly determined by the physician. The skin at the injection site becomes swollen, reddened or slightly painful, but the symptoms subside after a few days.
The effect achieved by injection lipolysis is permanent. The treatment makes your body smooth, rendering the skin firm and silky. To achieve good effects, it is necessary to undergo 4-6 treatment sessions, every 6 weeks. The effects are visible after 4–8 weeks. It is important for patients to keep a proper diet during the therapy and, in particular, a few days afterwards.
Injection lipolysis, which aims to shape the chin, involves the elimination of local deposits of fat on a double chin and the reduction of the so-called “hamster-like” cheeks on both sides of the mandible (lower jaw). The procedure involves injecting the right doses of an organic compound into the adipose tissue at strictly specified sites.
The compound, known as phosphatidylcholine, dissolves fat and accelerates its burning rate, thereby reducing too heavy cheeks or mandible. As a result, injection lipolysis slims down the face, ensuring a firmer chin and lifted cheeks as well as making your face look younger.
