About the procedure:

Manual lymphatic drainage (also known as compression massage) is a method of sequential massage that works directly on the lymphatic and circulatory systems. Adequate compression of the particular structures stimulates the lymphatic system to supply more oxygen and nutrients to the body, boosts microcirculation, and activates the lymphatic system to cleanse the body of toxins and metabolic waste products.

Manual lymphatic drainage supports the transportation of fat cells released during other slimming procedures, such as the shock wave therapy, cryolipolysis, microneedle radiofrequency, into the lymphatic system, thereby leading to their faster elimination from the body.

This is also one of the most effective methods for addressing oedema of the limbs and an invaluable solution for reducing cellulite.

For whom?

Manual lymphatic drainage is a procedure recommended for everyone. It has a series of beneficial effects on the entire body, from detoxification, reduction of oedema and improvement of metabolism, through to elimination of cellulite and other skin surface irregularities.

It is particularly recommended for individuals experiencing obstructed lymph flow, oedema, heavy legs sensation and cellulite.

Manual lymphatic drainage is a perfect solution to complement such treatment procedures as the shock wave therapy or cryolipolysis, which are intended to damage and eliminate fat cells (lymphatic drainage boosts the process of their removal from the body).

What does the treatment procedure look like?

The treatment procedure starts with the application of a special cream to the treatment area to produce slimming and smoothing effects. The cream contains a perfect combination of biomimetic peptides, aesculin and L-carnitine that boost the elimination of adipose (fatty) tissue and detoxification of the body. It also produces an excellent moisturising effect, leaving the skin silky smooth.

After that, the treated area is wrapped up in foil and the Patient is put in special overalls in which s/he is lying for the next 30–60 minutes.

Pain sensations

The treatment procedure is very pleasant and, once it is over, the Patient experiences great lightness and relaxation.

Recommended number of treatment procedures

Depending on the problem you want to address, we recommend a series of 6–10 treatment procedures, 2–3 times a week. For effective cellulite reduction, we recommend combining the LYMPHASTIM lymphatic drainage with the X-WAVE (shock wave) therapy.

Duration of the treatment procedure

The duration of the treatment procedure depends on the problem you want to address – it usually takes from 30–60 minutes.

Post-treatment recovery

The treatment procedure requires no recovery period. To maximise the effects, we recommend physical activity, healthy diet and high water intake.
