The InBody analyser of our own body composition makes it possible to carry our measurements, which provide us with such information as the mass and percentage content of the fatty tissue, skeletal muscle mass, visceral fat level, and body water content. The accuracy of the InBody analysis is estimated at as much as 98%. Regular analysis of our body composition is the basic approach to prevent the development of civilisational diseases.
The basic method to prevent the development of civilisational diseases is to undergo regular tests and examinations. One of them is the body composition analysis, which defines a series of parameters, including: the amount of visceral fat tissue accumulating in the abdominal cavity and its excess leads to a higher risk of such diseases as type 2 diabetes, metabolic disorders or cardiovascular conditions (arterial blood hypertension, atherosclerosis).
The body composition analysis is performed by a clinical dietician using a certified Inbody120 medical device. It is a non-invasive, painless and, as the same time, quick and precise method for determining such parameters as:
We recommend that the body composition analysis be combined with a dietary consultation (click here for more information). During the consultation, the dietician takes a nutritional history, interprets the results of the analysis and provides the patient with preliminary nutritional recommendations.
The body composition analysis is an ideal starting point for bringing healthy eating habits and balanced diet into the daily menu. To make this task easier, we offer personalised nutritional menus prepared by our dietician. Such menus take into account our personal preferences and restrictions concerning nutrition, recommended in the following circumstances:
The body composition analysis is recommended for everybody. Performed regularly, it helps to prevent the development of civilisational diseases (type 2 diabetes, metabolic disorders, cardiovascular diseases, etc.). It is a safe and reliable method for verifying such parameters as adipose (fatty) tissue mass and its percentage content, visceral fat level, protein and mineral substance content, and water content in the body.
The body composition analysis is performed using the Inbody120 medical device, which operates on the basis of electrical bioimpedance as a non-invasive, quick and safe method.
The measurement is performed by direct contact of the patient’s feet and palms with the electrodes installed in the analyser. Prior to the analysis, it is necessary to take off all the jewellery and metal items, which might otherwise interfere with the correct current flow and consequently reduce the effectiveness of the measurement.
The body composition analysis must be performed on an empty stomach or at least two hours after the last meal. It is advisable to refrain from intensive physical effort for approx. 12 hours before the analysis. No alcohol may be consumed for 48h before the examination.
The analysis itself takes approx. 15 minutes. However, we recommend that it be combined with a dietary consultation (click here for more information). In such a case, please be prepared for 60 minutes altogether.
